Seems we can wave goodbye to the heatwave today: it should stay warm enough this evening but there is a south-westerly breeze on its way with a fresher system… Good news is the tide’s right again (8.14pm @ 4.5m) so we are going to hit the rigging green at Chalkwell by 6.20pm (SS0 8JH) for a 6.30-ish launch of one of our popular ‘splashabout’ fun nights. As we’re not going anywhere, everyone’s very welcome so long as they’re ready for a bit of wind and chop and prepared to take a dip or two – and for a change it doesn’t even matter if you’re late, just come out and join us when you can! Hire kit will be available to Ready to Ride lesson graduates for £20: email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a ride. On the water, conditions will dictate exactly what we get up to, but there’s always a lot of laughs, plenty of free technique tips, usually a fair bit of board-swapping, and possibly even the swift return of SUP hockey… After, we’ll go low-brow tonight with a post paddle pint and food if you fancy at The Elms.
SUP Club is completely free of charge for anyone who owns their own kit (and knows how to use it!) to attend. If conditions are suitable, limited hire kit is available to graduates of our Learn to SUP lessons (or any other BSUPA Ready to Ride course) from email@example.com
