Well, it’s breezy again! North-easterly though – and good news is the tide’s workable (8.22pm @ 5m) so we are going to try and tuck out of it by hitting Chalkwell again (SS0 8JH) at the rigging green about 6.30pm for a 6.45-ish launch of another ‘splashabout’ fun night. And this time, as long as the wind stays offshore as forecast, we’re expecting the water should stay a whole lot flatter than last time! There could still be a little windswell and be advised that the air is likely to feel a bit chilly later, so at least bring your wetsuit. Again, as we’re not going anywhere, everyone’s very welcome – and again it doesn’t even matter if you’re late this week, just come out and join us when you can! Hire kit will be available to Ready to Ride lesson graduates for £20: email duncan@supsect.com to reserve a board. On the water, this time we’re hoping for the ‘fun’ that last time maybe didn’t deliver for everyone! A lot of laughs, plenty of free technique tips, usually a fair bit of board-swapping, hopefully the return of SUP hockey, and possibly a new game too… After, we’ll go back to The Elms for a post paddle pint – and food if you’re hungry?
SUP Club is completely free of charge for anyone who owns their own kit (and knows how to use it!) to attend. If conditions are suitable, limited hire kit is available to graduates of our Learn to SUP lessons (or any other BSUPA Ready to Ride course) from duncan@supsect.com
