Our next Water Wombles litter-pick is now confirmed for this coming Saturday 13th July – from the Willow Set at Paper Mill Lock, meeting c.11.30am ahead of a midday start to the pick. Everyone welcome, kids included, although the river does seem in pleasingly good shape so (just to manage expectations!) beyond a few cans and bottles we’re not expecting the richest of pickings… We’ll decide for sure at the briefing, but we’ll probably head one lock west (ie; to Mill House) then a lock east to Rushes and back.
