Confirmed! Our next Water Wombles litter-pick is firmly on for this coming Saturday 17th August – again from the Willow Set at Paper Mill Lock to clear ‘our stretch’ of the River Chelmer, where recent hot, sunny weather has seen an inevitable spike in littering. All capable paddlers welcome, kids included – and on-foot pickers to walk the riverbanks very welcome too. Meeting c.11.30am for a midday start.
