June’s SUPsect Water Wombles litterpick is Saturday 8th June for a Chelmsford city centre pick – where Chelmsford Council / Love Your Chelmsford have invited us to join them for their second annual LYC Riverclean in central Chelmsford, this year not from our usual spot but instead the Meadows Surface Car Park (CM2 0WP – where there is a 2.1m height restriction barrier, which we’re assured should be left open for higher vehicles … we’ll assemble near the launch opposite the canoe club, so please do double-check this W3W link to make sure you’re heading to the right place: it’s mildly tricky to get to! https://w3w.co/winner.orchestra.riding). Free parking permits (and potentially a free coffee and cake?) will be supplied by the good people of Love Your Chelmsford – and it’s an earlier than usual meeting time for us of 9am! That’s meeting at 9am, then pumping up and preparing etc, so hitting the water c.9.30am at the earliest.

And let’s see if this works: here’s an embedded YouTube ad for the event, starring us (amongst others…)
