We were very pleasantly surprised be back onto our boards from Mill House up on the River Chelmer in some super-fine spring weather for this month’s SUPsect Water Wombles litter-pick. Great to be able to get right into the banks before the greenery grows back, so we got a good dozen bagfuls of plastic, cans, bottles and associated stuff out over the course of a few sunny hours… Thanks everyone for coming.

Apologies for the late notice, but with this week’s super-fine spring weather we’re very pleasantly surprised to be able to get back onto our boards for this month’s Water Wombles litterpick. Meeting from 11am ahead of an 11.30am start on Saturday 8th March at Mill House (https://w3w.co/thigh.roadshow.rehearsal: where parking may be tight, and although it’s relatively dry there are bound to still be some muddy puddles!) We’ll probably head downstream (and upwind) to Papermill first then pick back upstream (downwind!) to Stonham’s Lock. This is primarily an on-board pick – although as ever, on-foot pickers are very welcome too (in suitable footwear as the towpaths tend to stay muddy this time of year…)
