It’s back in the game! Just in time for the end of our beginner teaching season, it was so good to get the van on the road again – now complete with freshly rebuilt gearbox and engine. With huge thanks to the mechanical magicians Steve Hamilton and young Ben, plus in the interim our ‘rollerskate’ Kangoo who took over school towing duties, and several kind clubbies who provided El with lifts to Race Club … but no thanks whatsoever to the awful AA, who (not being what they used to be) left us standing on the M4 hard-shoulder for over 6 hours back at the end of July.
